You're feeling exhausted by your thoughts—they just won’t stop. You've tried everything but are unsure how to make a change from incessant thoughts and feeling stuck in a cycle of negative emotions. You’re often left feeling tired, irritable, burned out, and possibly unhappy with the way life is going. Perhaps you are struggling with life’s unexpected challenges—becoming a parent, coping with trauma that keeps getting in the way, or navigating your relationship with your parents or partner. You’re dealing with thoughts of doing things perfectly, or being a bit too hard on yourself. You’re the type of person who finds it difficult to rely on others or ask for help.
You don't have to manage everything on your own. I'm here to listen and help. My clients are managing anxiety, motherhood, obsessive or intrusive thoughts, perfectionism, OCD, trauma, or relationships. I work with people who are interested in living more “in the moment”, and less in their heads.
I work to support balance and harmony with my clients by addressing their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. I integrate several therapeutic modalities and incorporate mindfulness and somatic practices into sessions. I believe you are the expert on you and I'm here to support and guide utilizing my therapeutic knowledge.
I know how it feels to be unable to escape your thoughts and emotions, and many of the techniques I use in sessions have helped me personally. Clients have described me as kind, accepting, "real", with a warm sense of humor. Whenever you're ready, reach out. I will create a safe and warm space for us to talk and process. I can't wait to meet you!
Meet Patrice
Hi, I’m Patrice. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and mom who loves nature, mindfulness, and all things crafty.
I understand how it feels to be plagued by intrusive thoughts and anxiety. I am passionate about the work I do and empowering people to get out of their heads and into their bodies and the present moment.
I am a passionate advocate for mental health, mindfulness, and women's health. I integrate evidence-based practices to support clients on their unique journeys. I specialize in mindfulness techniques and somatic practices to help clients to live more fully and focus more on their values and what’s important. As a strong supporter of women's health, I am especially focused on addressing the mental and emotional challenges faced by women, helping to support them through life's transitions. My favorite therapy modalities to use in sessions include ACT, IFS, and ERP for clients with OCD symptoms. I also incorporate somatic practices and CBT when appropriate.
I have extensive experience supporting clients through a wide range of life challenges. Over the years, I have developed clinical expertise in areas such as anxiety, perinatal mental health, OCD, life transitions, relationship issues, and trauma. I take a holistic approach to therapy, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each client.
In my personal life, I am a huge nature lover and herbalist. I enjoy mindful nature walks, gardening, and yoga!
